Vane Farm has a shop, cafe, scopes and camera feeds and many bird feeders dotted around the site. There are three hides on the pools by the loch and a steep trail to the top of Vane hill. Ospreys and thousands of Pink Footed Geese are the main reason we come here. |

A very bright Spring day brought us to Vane Farm again to scale the hill on the south side of the reserve as well as visiting the 3 hides by the edge of Loch Leven. |
At the start of the hill walk we saw a Goldfinch at feeders |

A Pied Wagtail sprang past us.
A Crow passed overhead. |

As we got near the top of the hill the view of the Loch and the Reserve were stunning. |

At the top of the hill a Meadow Pipit was watching us.

At the far side of the reserve thousands of Pink Footed Geese were gathered.

We descended
the hill and toured round the hides.. We watched frisky pair of Coot.

A Moorhen foraged amidst the reeds. |
A Great Crested Grebe was diving for food. |

A very enjoyable walk - Vane Farm seldom disappoints.
